Vampire Needling

Vampirneedling

Medical needling, also known as percutaneous collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive medical treatment for improving skin texture. Medical Needling is a procedure without any side effects and is based on natural anti-aging – skin rejuvenation through the body’s own healing processes.

Under local anesthesia, the Medical Roll Kit, a roller filled with needles of 1 mm in length, is moved gently over the skin. The needles penetrate the epidermis without injuring them and open up fine microchannels. Small bleeding immediately stimulates the natural healing process.

Effect: The formation of growth factors increases, the body’s own collagen and elastin production is stimulated, the connective tissue thickens. A softer, visibly firmer skin is the result.

Which body regions can be treated?

Needling can be applied to all regions of the body and all skin types. The following skin changes can be treated especially well with medical needling:

  • Wrinkles on the face (eg salmon and perioral wrinkles)
  • Wrinkles in the décolleté
  • Stretch marks, so-called striae distensae
  • Acne scars and burn scars
  • Sun-damaged skin
  • hyperpigmentation

Depending on the indication, three to six treatments are performed every two to three weeks. Experience has shown that usually only burn scars and stretch marks require more than three treatments. This may require surgical needling.

  • Medical Needling: At least three treatments at intervals of four to six weeks
  • Surgical Needling: Two to three treatments under general anesthesia every three months

How many treatments are necessary?

Depending on the indication, three to six treatments are carried out at intervals of two to three weeks. Experience has shown that more than three treatments are usually only necessary for burn scars and stretch marks.

What are the benefits of medical needling?

  • under anesthetic cream feasible
  • minimal healing time: only slight redness on the first and second day of treatment
  • no swelling and hematomas
  • applicable to every skin type
  • applicable in all body regions
  • cost effective method

What to look for after treatment?

  • If feeling tense during the first 2 days Vaseline or a fatty cream can be applied.
  • In the morning and in the evening, a serum with peptides (provided by us) is applied before the Vit-A care until it is used up.
  • From the third day home care products can be used as usual in the morning and evening.
  • The redness of the skin persists about 2-3 days after the treatment, however, the patients are allowed to wear makeup 24 hours after the treatment.

Can the treatment be combined with other therapies?

Medical needling can be combined with a “PRP” treatment. It is a treatment with platelet-enriched plasma (PRP) from autologous blood. Before treatment, blood is removed from the arm vein and immediately subjected to a special procedure. The blood platelet-rich portion of the plasma is separated and then incorporated into the skin, with different methods are available here. This concentrated plasma stimulates the self-healing powers in your skin and thus ensures a regeneration process with increased collagen formation and connective tissue regeneration after a few days and weeks. Medical needling can also be combined with hyaluronic acid treatment. The cost of treatment depends on the amount of hyaluronic acid product needed.
