On Saturday, October 5th, 2024, Human Med AG invites you to a Lunch Symposium during the 54th DGPRÄC Annual Meeting in Düsseldorf, showcasing new developments in breast surgery.

Under the theme "KISS – Keep It Safe and Simple," the symposium will focus on fat grafting in breast surgery using the WAL method (Water-Assisted Liposuction). This innovative technique presents a safer, less invasive alternative to traditional methods, enhancing patient safety and surgical outcomes. The Lunch Symposium features two expert talks:

What methods of breast reconstruction are there?

There are two methods of breast reconstruction: implants and autologous tissue. Implants offer immediately visible results, but carry risks such as capsular fibrosis and ruptures. Autologous tissue can be used through flaps or autologous fat (lipofilling). The latter is done gradually and avoids foreign body complications.
