Park-Klinik Birkenwerder welcomes Dr. Mathias Kremer-Thum as a new member of its medical team. As Deputy Chief Physician and a specialist in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, he brings many years of experience in senior medical roles to the clinic.
Dr. Mathias Kremer-Thum studied medicine in Freiburg. His training also included international placements, including time in Zurich, New York and at Harvard.
He completed parts of his specialist training in Switzerland and at the University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein. He has held board certification in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery since 2010.
Before joining Park-Klinik Birkenwerder, Dr. Mathias Kremer-Thum worked for many years in senior positions in Munich and Berlin. In his personal introduction, he states that he led the Berlin site of a major clinic group for many years and is now looking forward to strengthening the team in Birkenwerder.
Outside of medicine, he is the father of two sons and enjoys spending time in nature and going on cycling tours. His full CV is available on the clinic’s website.
