Chapter on the BEAULI™ Protocol Published by Springer

The chapter “BEAULI™ Berlin AUtologous LIpotransfer” by Klaus Ueberreiter, Ursula Tanzella and Charlotte Münzner has been published in Springer’s “Essentials of Fat Grafting – A Step-by-Step Guide”. The publication has been available online via Springer Nature Link since May 1, 2026.

The chapter appears in the volume edited by Lukas Prantl. The book was co-edited and commented on by Amin Kalaaji, Roger Khouri, Lauren Kokai, Norbert Pallua, Rod Rohrich and Kotaro Yoshimura.

The article focuses on the BEAULI™ protocol, which is based on harvesting fat using water-jet-assisted liposuction. According to the abstract, a standardized protocol for mega-volume fat grafting was developed from October 2010, with the aim of collecting fat tissue with minimal cell damage.

Following clinical evaluation using MRI control, the method was published in 2010 and subsequently applied in many countries. The chapter was published by Springer in 2026 and appears on pages 599 to 606.
